7PM at Mcdo libis up to 10pm

We were waiting for the other peeps to arrive.

Chatting and catching up, definitely everyone had a great time seeing familiar faces but sadly we had to cut it short as we needed to drive some 4 hours more to our next destination.

Upon leaving and taking C5 then SLEX, we stopped at Caltex mamplasan to meet one of the members that will guide us to quezon.

I was excited to drive, It was dark, cold and I was alone in the car. So I got bored and sneaked up on of the MR2s and gave him a “blind attack” It was funny and dangerous too but since we are only 4 cars on the open road and its a 4 hour drive. Upon arriving at our destination, I was Sleepy and hungry so I ate to my heart’s content then we started to drink and afterwards I jumped into the pool and this was at 2-4am already! Then the sun came up and Makol (the owner of the house and ClubMR2 member too) said that they had a private beach 10mins away and we we’re like “Come on let’s go!”. I just wore my shirt and hopped on the pick-up and got the beach. It was a fun breezy ride at the same time I shared the history of the club to one of the new members. It got me pondering about a few things, but that’s for another entry…

alas we arrived on the beach and it was fun catching crabs (no pun intended).

but as the sun was rising we had to go back, find time to sleep if we can and they had to visit the market too.

This is a sight I won’t get tired waking up every day.
(Aside from these, there’s a JZA80 supra, SW21 and Corolla race car at the back too)

Saturday…

We had to pack up and go back to Manila but before we left we got some free rambutan.

Damn the drive was fun and awesome, specially during the SLEX bit, I was talking on the phone with VJ while driving side by side on the highway just making fun of ourselves, It was a carefree saturday but the day has yet to end.

Fast forward to 9pm and it was time for the sushi meet.
Nostalgic cars and fun run too.

As I was looking around at every car, ogling and trying hard to savour all the small detail of every car.
I felt that we really belonged to the convoy, not one car is too perfect nor too banged up.
The air was filled with nostalgia and everywhere you look you find “character”
It was a sight to see different cars, makes and era. There was everything for everyone.

Sunday: 12:01am

We were getting ready and about to start our convoy, time to put up a great show

after all, we are the speedhunters.

Cars revving, getting up the skyway ramp.
It was a sight to see…
I’ll post the video link when its up 🙂

but I can say that I or WE had fun.

I found my wangan brother too.
The same drifter/Touge driver.
also a well versed Highway runner.
